This installation is presented at the National Museum of Norway (Nasjonalmuseet). In the 18th and 19th centuries, Norway and its immense territories remained largely unexplored. Some artists therefore set out on expeditions to capture these spectacular landscapes in their artworks and thus show the Norwegian people the extent and beauty of their country. Artists, but also adventurers, as nature can be so hostile and perilous there.&nbsp; In an immersive 3D map, this interactive device allows visitors to travel through the grandiose landscapes of Norway, and discover the paintings that these exploratory artists have created.

&ldquo;We are not beasts.&rdquo; Who has never heard or uttered this expression? Yet, from the point of view of natural history, we are! Through 5 episodes produced by the French Natural History Museum, this animated series questions the complex and ambivalent relationship that humans have with the animal world.&nbsp;
