AKIA is the story of a survivor, a man almost killed in action who must learn to live again when his brothers in arms have fallen on the battlefield. A VR short film directed by Bruno Masi in real-time 3D, the story focuses on Sergeant Girsham, the sole survivor of a squad of four soldiers ambushed during a reconnaissance mission. AKIA is above all about making war feel like it has rarely, if ever, been possible to do so.
