In this documentary produced by France T&eacute;l&eacute;visions, director Andr&eacute;s Jarach questions Man from an anthropological and a societal perspective. From a joyous lively patchwork &mdash; where archive images, old silent films and interviews with scientists from the Natural History Museum are intermingled &mdash; this documentary humorously sweeps away clich&eacute;s and puts the great themes of our history into perspective. The film is also presented in a permanent installation in the new Mus&eacute;e de l'Homme in Paris.

This immersive experience proposes a new kind of performance where dance, painting and digital arts merge into fascinating and imaginary landscapes. The flamenco of the Spanish artist Jos&eacute; Maya and the paintings of the American artist Mark Rothko meet, respond and merge to create doors to an infinite, meditative space. A universal and initiatory journey in 8 paintings, where human emotions vibrate before our eyes.
